Due to extensive refurbishment, the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum will remain closed from 1st January 2010 for an anticipated four years.

The exhibition programme in Museums Haus Lange und Haus Esters will carry on uninterrupted and has lots of interesting projects waiting for you in the months to come.

Similarly our pedagogic programme for children, youngsters and adults will be continued by our head of Art in Education, Thomas Janzen. The events will now largely take place in Museums Haus Lange and Haus Esters on Wilhelmshofallee.

What will be restricted!

Our range of offers at the Museum Shop in the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum is only available until further notice by telephone or writing. You will however still be able to purchase museum catalogues, postcards and posters in Museums Haus Lange and Haus Esters. If you wish to find out about our editions please click the appropriate button here on our website.

Unfortunately our art consulting service can no longer be offered while the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum is closed.

For the time being the library will only open in special cases.
